Craft Japan Professional - edger / edge beveler For chamfering leather edges and rounding off cut before burnishing. You will receive a practical grinding aid for the edger (metal rod + 1x abrasive paper 800 and 1200) for sharpening your edge beveler. This is only suitable for Craft Japan edger / edge beveler. For sharpening, place the 800 grit sandpaper around the metal rod and put a drop of oil on the sandpaper as illustrated on the back of the package. Hold the sandpaper together with your fingers along the edges and carefully "plane" the wrapped metal rod. Then repeat this process with the 1200 grit sandpaper to give the blade the final finish. Craft Japan replacement sharpening aid for edger CJ_8422Important: Due to its shape, this sharpening aid is only suitable for use with our Craft Japan edgers of the CJ_8422 series. (CJ_8422-01, CJ_8422-02, CJ_8422-03, CJ_8422-04) Our other edgers offered may be damaged by using this sharpening aid.The practical sharpening aid (metal rod) for re-sharpening your Craft Japan edger serves as a basis for re-sharpening your edger blade with the help of sandpaper. For re-sharpening, put a sandpaper (e.g. 800 grit) around the metal rod and put a drop of oil on the sandpaper (e.g. our camellia oil). Now hold the sandpaper by the edges with your fingers and carefully "plane" on the wrapped metal rod. Then repeat this process with a finer sandpaper to give the blade the final touch (e.g. 1200 grit or higher).

Edge Sanding Stick When sewing several pieces of leather together, often an offset of the edges is unavoidable. By using the sanding stick, you can easily prepare your leather edges for smoothing with an edge polisher or dyeing with an edge color. It can also be used to roughen the leather on splices. The edge sanding stick is equipped with a coarse and a fine grain and has a flexible synthetic material core. The abrasive layers lie on a foam layer to ensure a soft, non-rigid grinding process. Leather Burnisher made of Glass - (Glass Burnisher) With this glass burnisher, you can smooth the surface of natural leather. It is also very helpful as an edge burnisher with thick leather edges (for example, with several layers of leather on top of each other). The clean-cut, rounded glass edge is also great for smoothing rough leather backs using our Gum-Tragacanth Edge Sealer. The effect produced is similar to that of the edge burnisher, however, suitable for larger areas. Using the glass burnisher is very simple - moisten the leather and let it dry for a short time.
