MAXCRAFT™ Leather Conditioner It is water-based and contains a mixture of valuable, carefully selected waxes. It has a fluid appearance, a whitish color and a characteristic odor. The valuable waxes in the product have the task of penetrating the leather and maintaining it, while the softness, the gloss level or the opacity remain unchanged. It also creates a light protective layer that protects the leather surface from weather, occasional drops, etc. MAXCRAFT ™ Leather Conditioner should only be used as a last coat. The protective layer created by the use repels any subsequently applied finishes. The product can be applied by hand with a sponge, a soft cloth or a dauber. The presence of balance additives makes this process very easy without leaving scratches on the leather surface. MAXCRAFT™ Leather Gloss Finish, is a glossy coating for the surface of the leather made of special resins and shellac. The leather surface becomes very shiny when applied. MAXCRAFT ™ Leather Gloss finish is color-neutral. It can be applied to all natural full grain leather, even on some pre-dyed leather. (Please try out the remaining pieces in advance) Generally, it is applied by hand with a soft cloth or sponge. Extenders in the composition of the finish allow the product to be easily applied and banding is reduced on application. The low viscosity of the product also allows the use of the finish in an airbrush gun. Although it is a water-based product, the drying time is very short (5-10 minutes, depending on room temperature). Once completely dry, it can be further processed by applying a second coat or by polishing the surface with a soft cloth or sponge. The mechanical effect of polishing actually contributes to the "sealing" of the coating rubber, which melts with the heat given off by the rubbing in the pores of the leather and increases the gloss level. Another positive feature: The softness and the original feel of the leather remains unchanged. The elasticity of the resins in the composition prevents the treated surface from becoming brittle or tearing even after a long time.

ROC - Denmark Lederhärter Das Lederversteifungsmittel auf Basis von Schellack ermöglicht es Leder nachträglich zu härten und erhöht zudem die Schnittfestigkeit. Dieser Effekt ist besonders für den Messerscheidenbau interessant, oder wenn bei dünnem Leder eine erhöhte Standigkeit erzielt werden soll. So können filigrane und trotzdem formstabile Projekte realisiert werden. Das Härtemittel wird mit weichem Pinsel, Tuch oder Schwamm auf die Fleischseite aufgetragen und härtet in kurzer Zeit aus. Ein mehrfacher Auftrag bzw. eine stärkere Sättigung des Leders erhöht die Steifigkeit.  Vorsicht bei dünnem, stark saugfähigem Leder kann der Lederhärter durchschlagen. Zur Pinselreinigung verwenden Sie alkohlische Lösemittel oder ROC Verdünner für Lederfarbe. Idealerweise werden geplante Klebestellen nicht mit Lederhärter behandelt, bzw. sorgfältig aufgeraut. Wir empfehlen die gängigen Lederkontaktkleber aus unserem Sortiment. Bei Messerscheiden kann das Innere mit Lederhärter kurz geflutet werden - ACHTUNG - sofort wieder entleeren.

Toko Pro / Kantenversiegelung Ähnlich wie Tokonole, wird Toko Pro in Japan hergestellt und besteht aus natürlichen Wachsen, ist auf Wasserbasis, schnell trocknend und geruchslos. Es ist sowohl für vegetabil gegerbtes Leder, als auch für chromgegerbtes und mischgegerbtes Leder zu verwenden. Durch das Auftragen auf Lederkanten und rauen Lederrückseiten bindet es die Fasern.    Durch die anschließende Bearbeitung mit einem Polierholz / Polierwerkzeug oder einem festen Tuch wird das gewünschte, langlebige Finish erreicht.    Ein höherer Finish-Glanz wird erreicht, je länger Sie die Fläche polieren.    Beim Glätten von Leder-Rückseiten wird Toko Pro nach dem Auftragen mit einem Glas-Burnisher oder einem festen Tuch bis zum gewünschten Glanz-Finish poliert.    Es können, bei Bedarf, nach der Anwendung Kantenfarben auf Acrylbasis aufgetragen werden. Beim Färben der Kante mit Einziehfarben (ROC oder Fiebing's) wird erst die Kante gefärbt. Erst nach dem Trocknen der Farbe wird Toko Pro aufgetragen.
