Product information "Craft Japan - Leather Binder"

Water-based binder to reduce color abrasions on dyed leather.

Available in 100 ml and 500 ml containers.

Our Craft Japan - Leather Binder gives you the ability to bind free color pigments in the leather, which are often the cause of color abrasion after dyeing. Color abrasion can be reduced or even completely prevented (depending on the leather used, color used and amount of color). Spotty dyes are easily counterbalanced and the leather becomes more resistant through the application. It can be applied after dyeing like a finish with our wool dauber, a brush or a fine, clean cotton cloth over the dyed leather.

Subsequently, another top finish, such as Craft Japan Leather Finish / Glossy - Fiebing's Tan Kote, Giardini Fixative ... can be applied.

Consistency: thin

Note: This product dissolves the free color on dyed leather. By applying the color pigments on the entire treated surface are evenly distributed. Therefore, it should be carefully used on multi-colored work pieces to avoid unpleasant color blurring. It may be best to apply with a brush.

Fiebing's Leather Dye Alcohol-based leather dyes. The 28 different colours can be mixed by additive colour mixing. This way you can make your own colour yourself. The colours dry uniformly and achieve an even coverage. Repeated dyeing or slower application of dyes gives them a stronger and darker dyeing result. These dyes are not completely nonfading. Fiebing's Antique Leather Stain Water-based antique finish to highlight hollows in tooled leather. Easy to apply, fast absorbing and drying. Fiebing's Antique Leather Stain dyes the leather to be treated according to the color used and at the same time emphasizes hollows. Places that should not be dyed must be protected by a suitable finish (e.g., Craft Japan Leather - Finish / Glossy - Fiebing's Tan Kote, Eco-Flo Super Shene ...) first. Apply Fiebing`s Antique Leather Stain in a circular motion and immediately remove excess stain with a soft cloth. Afterwards this finish has to be protected with a leather finish (like Resolene, Tan Kote, Satin Shene ...). Fiebing´s Pro Dye (Prof. Oil Dye)

Fiebing`s Pro Dye (former name Fiebing`s Professional Oil Dye) This is an improved version of the proven Fiebing's Leather Dye. Fiebing's Pro Dyes are specifically made for vegetable / vegetable tanned leather. They produce an excellent, deep and uniform colour. Fiebing's Pro Dyes are waterproof and nonfading, which prevents them from washing out and fading. Repeated staining or slower application of colour gives them a richer, darker colour. Fiebing's Antique Finish Antique finish to emphasize tooled leather. The Fiebing`s Antique Finish "dyes" leather slightly according to the color used and at the same time enhances hollows. Places that should not be dyed must be protected with a suitable finish (e.g., Resolene, Tan Kote, ProResist, Giardini Fixative...) first. The leather is only lightly dyed. If you want to dye leather in one go and give it an antique touch, then use our following products: - Leder Antik Finish Vintage Gel 236ml- Antique leather finish / Fiebing's Antique Leather Stain- Antique leather finish / Fiebing's Hi-liter- Leather Antique Finish / Craft Japan Antique Carving Dye Apply Antique Finish in circular motions and remove excess dye with a soft cloth immediatly. Fiebing`s Hi-Liter Antique finish to emphasize hollows in the tooled leather. Easy to apply, fast absorbing and drying. Hi-Liter is leather dye and antique finish in one and colours the leather in a light and warm shade of brown. Creates a dark brown color in hollows of the tooled leather. This gives you a wonderful, powerful contrast. Places that should not be dyed must be protected with a suitable finish first (e.g., Craft Japan Leather - Finish / Glossy - Fiebing's Tan Kote, ...).
