Polyester Tracing Film DIN A4 The transparent polyester tracing film is ideal for transferring patterns onto leather. The transparency of the polyester tracing film is well balanced and allows for detailed transferring. The material enables a sturdy, only 0.07 mm thickness which significantly simplifies tracing. The required pressure to transfer contours cleanly can be significantly reduced - finer lines can be transmitted with pin sharp. Tearing or puncturing is reduced when transferring in comparison to conventional transparent papers. The polyester tracing film is waterproof, no swelling when transferring a drawing onto leather. Pencil drawings are easily erasable. Application: Lay the polyester tracing film on the desired template and mark the contours with e.g. a pencil. After drawing, dampen the leather to which the motif is to be transferred with a damp sponge. Please wait until this leather has returned to approximately the original color as before moistening. Place the polyester tracing film with your design on the leather. Now trace all lines of your design with a suitable modeling tool to transfer it onto the leather. You can cut the contours with the swivel knife and start tooling. Suitable modeling tools are e.g. our following products:- Leather - Modeler / Modeling Iron "Ball / Needle"- Osborne Leather - Modeler "spoon pointed / pointed" Important: The polyester tracing film is not suitable for inkjet printers because ink does not adhere. Jeweler`s Rouge, 50 gr. in 5 different grits Please apply the jeweler's rouge to a piece of thin cardboard (e.g., photo cardboard), leather, or our strop board. It is not necessary to dilute these or to change their consistency. Simply take the piece of abrasive paste wrapped in paper out of the plastic tube and tear off a piece (about 1 cm) of the paper around it. Now pull the blade to be sharpened, at a uniform angle and moderate pressure over the applied jeweler's rouge. The result is a dark grinding abrasion. We recommend our sharpening tool for our swivel knife blades.Available options: - green (extra fine): suitable for a final high gloss polish. - white (fine): standard grit, suitable for polishing and resharpening between operations of knives and swivel knife blades. - red (medium): suitable for grinding slightly blunt knives and swivel knife blades. - brown (coarse): suitable for regular sanding and the removal of light scratches and rust marks from knives and swivel knife blades. - gray (extra coarse): suitable for coarse pre-sharpening of heavily rusted knives and swivel knife blades.
