Stitching Pony
For clamping leather. You can now work with both hands free. Ideal for saddle stitching.
Turning the block 90° (picture 2) opens the stitching pony. The normal opening width is about 8 mm. The width of the jaws is 60 mm.
The tapered bar is clamped while sitting under the thigh. The working height then is about 340 mm (in front of the chest).

For clamping the leather. You can now work freely with both hands. Ideal for saddle stitching.
Turn the wooden knob on the side to open or close the jaws. The maximum opening width is approx. 4 cm. The dimensions of the jaws are 7 cm in width and 3.8 cm in height.
The sewing clamp has a total height of about 27 cm, the working height is about 30 mm above the table top.
The well thought-out cone shape of the wood knob does not allow for messing up the sewing thread. Magnets attached to the outside of the jaws help keep your needles or awl always in place, right you need them. Placing them on the table is therefore no longer necessary.
