For tooling please moisten the leather surface with a sponge and lukewarm water (surface must be absorbent). Afterwards the leather can be dyed. Regardless of whether the leather is dyed or not, we recommend to treat the surface with our leather care finish finally (surface will be dirt and water repellent).
- Due to the production method of the individual letters, it is necessary to orient themselves on an auxiliary line on the leather in order to obtain a straight and uniform font. A stop, as it is often used to align the letters is unfortunately not to use here.
Please use a suitable hammer to avoid damaging the stamping tool.
