Rickert - Perma Lok / Braiding Needles
Brass braiding needles with internal thread for use with leather braiding straps. Available in 2 different shapes.
- Rounded shape: The rounded, unformed top makes it easy to weave, especially in more complex types of braid.
- Flattened shape: The classic form of the perma-lok needle with a flattened tip. Braided tapes can be kept easier in the correct position.
The leather braid band must be "tapered" with a knife and can then be screwed into the threaded hole at the rear end of the needle. It thus creates a firm connection between the needle and braid.
