Osborne Splitting Machine
Professional Leather Splitter by C. S. Osborne.
Cast iron frame, weight approx. 5.74 kg, maximum width of the leather to be split 205 mm.
To ensure that the machine is secure, we recommend to affix it onto your workbench with 4 screws (not included). The thickness to be split can be set with the brass thumbscrew on the right. The cast iron handle lifts the roller until the depth to be split is reached. The lever on the left opens and closes the guide rail, which at the same time is a protection against reaching into the blade.
A replacement blade and spare parts for this splitting machine are available.
