Product information "Leather flake, natural"
Leather flake, natural (from vegetable tanned cow leather) from German tannery
Filler for 3-D projects. It is e.g. used in our 3-D seminars to fill out sculptured cavities or vaults. See Figure 2-5.
The leather flake are mixed with adhesive or gum solution and molded into position as a "sticky" mass. The resulting mass is still deformable for some time to customize the workpiece even more accurate and elaborate.
Tip: The leather flakes are also suitable for repairing and filling smaller holes on the bleach side of the leather. Sometimes leather skins are already damaged when peeling off the skin or in the tannery on the flesh side, with the grain side of the leather being flawless. Cuts, holes or cracks on the flesh side make the leather useless for many projects because it is no longer stable. A mixture of leather flakes and our "Renia Gummilösung "Extra"" can be very well mixed and processed after a short evaporation time. With this mass, the damaged areas can be easily fixed and repaired.
Information: The leather flakes remain in the production of our leather skins by splitting and folding the leather to the desired thickness. Thus, this is "vegetable tanned, natural leather flakes".
