Polyester Tracing Film DIN A4 The transparent polyester tracing film is ideal for transferring patterns onto leather. The transparency of the polyester tracing film is well balanced and allows for detailed transferring. The material enables a sturdy, only 0.07 mm thickness which significantly simplifies tracing. The required pressure to transfer contours cleanly can be significantly reduced - finer lines can be transmitted with pin sharp. Tearing or puncturing is reduced when transferring in comparison to conventional transparent papers. The polyester tracing film is waterproof, no swelling when transferring a drawing onto leather. Pencil drawings are easily erasable. Application: Lay the polyester tracing film on the desired template and mark the contours with e.g. a pencil. After drawing, dampen the leather to which the motif is to be transferred with a damp sponge. Please wait until this leather has returned to approximately the original color as before moistening. Place the polyester tracing film with your design on the leather. Now trace all lines of your design with a suitable modeling tool to transfer it onto the leather. You can cut the contours with the swivel knife and start tooling. Afterwards the leather can be dyed with leather color. Viscose sponge (swelling sponge) - pack of 2 pieces,ideal for the even and large application of leather dyes and finishes on leather or for moistening the leather before tooling.Our dyeing sponges are made from regenerated cellulose. The fine pores of the sponge provide a large surface area with open cell structure. The natural viscose sponge is therefore able to absorb 20 times its own dry weight of water and store it in its pore structure. The viscose sponge will hold the liquid until full capacity is reached. Please soak them in water before first use and rinse them well. The form after swelling is retained. Once swollen, the sponge can be used over and over. It is recommended to moisten the sponge slightly before use, even after repeated use.
